FREE Land and water exercise classes!

Land Classes

Bring bathing suit or shorts/shirt.

Come to Tai chi classes. No need to sign-up, just stop in!

Tai chi is fast becoming a popular exercise program for people with MS.

The Oak Clinic now offers classes for both walking and non-walking patients.

Dixie Cain-Hargrove is a certified tai chi instructor and a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. She will help you learn the benefits of this ancient martial art. Improved flexibility, balance and strength, as well as a wonderful sense of relaxation, are what many MS patients experience after only a few sessions.

Classes are held weekly on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM.

There is no charge to attend. But space is limited.

Tuesday morning Yoga!

This is a one hour class that is held weekly.

Classes are held on Tuesdays at 12:30 PM.

Research division opens

The Oak Clinic is collaborating with Kent State University’s School of Biomedical Sciences on MS-related research.

Drs. Ernest Freeman and Jennifer McDonough lead a team of scientists and graduate student assistants conducting both clinical and basic (or laboratory) research.
